Day 3. Nagarkot 2195m

Whole day Enduro ride with a little help of a shuttle van.

Nagarkot is located east of Kathmandu, it’s well-known for its view and the favorite getaway from the Kathmandu Valley. The trails here are diverse and epic, some of the best we have for Enduro around the valley.  We will have a shuttle van to minimize the long uphill and to ride the most out of all those trails in Nagarkot. Tonight we stay in the ancient town of Bhaktapur Durbar Square.

Day 4. Kathmandu – Pokhara 800m Drive

200km drive on a private vehicle

Today we are leaving the capital and heading west, towards Pokhara, one of the best laid back city in Nepal. Pokhara is the tourist hub for trekking and better alternative for relaxing. Overnight in beautiful Lakeside area.

Day 5. Pokhara-Jomsom 2750m 20mins flight

Flight and then ride to Kagbeni 2810m.

We take an early morning flight to Jomsom, we’ll pass by over 8000m mountain ranges Mt Dhaulagiri on left and Mighty Annapurna range on the left side. Flight time would be around 20mins. Welcome to Jomsom aka        “windy valley” is a center of Lower Mustang and the only airport around the area; we’ll have breakfast in Jomsom2750m. We will have an hour and half ride to medieval Kagbeni and it is the main gateway to Upper Mustang. Today is basically our acclimatize day in the altitude. We are staying in Kagbeni village tonight.

Day 6. Kagbeni-Mukitnath 3750m

Mostly uphill off roads 3 – 4hrs ride

Muktinath is probably one of the Holiest pilgrimage sites for both Hinduism and Buddhism. It’s the first place to arrive after crossing mighty Thorung La (pass) 5416m in the Annapurna Circuit. Today is the peddling day, we will ride through Dzarkot, a visit to the ancient Buddhist Monastery. Overnight at Muktinath.

There’s a small pass at the top of where you can see Mt Nilgiri and Mt Dhaulagiri, just right in your face. From the pass trails continues with technical Downhill single tracks. After the DH sections we are on a main trail at EkleBhatti which leads to Marpha via Jomsom. Probably the beautiful Village in the area, famous for Apple and apricot and its local brandy. Overnight in Marpha.

Day 8. Marpha-Tatopani 1300m

From the main trail, we’ll cross the suspension bridge and ride towards the other side of the Kali Gandaki River. We’ll ride on both on and off side of the main trails. We’ll ride through several villages like Tukuche, Kobang, Larjung and probably the biggest waterfall in Nepal “Rupse Chhahara”. Tatopani means Hot water in Nepali, it is a little village known for Natural Hot spring. However, we have hot showers in all of the hotels/lodges we stay during our trip, but this one is something special. Getting into a Natural hot spring plunge pool would definitely make you feel relax after a week long ride.

Short morning ride to Beni and Drive to Kande and then ride to Tamagi 2hrs off road

An hour a half Ride to Beni and then transfer to the Vehicle and drive towards Pokhara, but we don’t drive all the way to Pokhara today. After ca 2 hours’ drive, lunch and we are on our bikes again and ride towards Tamagi. Tonight we stay at either in Tamagi.

Off road jeep tracks, downhill and flat. Max 3 hours ride

Tamagi is a beautiful Gurung village located west of Pokhara. You can see the whole Annapurna range and Phewa Lake from Tamagi. The final day of our riding from the hills to the lake, it is 65% downhill and the rest is Nepali flat. It might be a recovery ride for many of us and beautiful landscape and scenery is always a treat to have. We’ll be in Pokhara by lunch. Pokhara is a most visited Tourist place in Nepal, and much more laid back than the busy Kathmandu. Overnight in Pokhara.
