All mountain, freeride
This is an alternate route in the famous Annapurna Circuit, to connect from Manang to Mustang. Unlike Thorong-La, only few amount of trekkers cross over the Mesokanto Pass every year to heading towards Lower Mustang Jomsom. There’s hardly any mountain bikers has been through.
The trails separates from Manang, instead of heading towards Thorong-La5416m, we take the trail on the left which leads to Khangsyhar village. There are plenty of single track riding, which includes some quite technical sections too. Especially when approaching on the high altitude areas the hike a bike section is always a part of this trip.
What bike should I bring for this trip, if I cannot bring my own bike, is it possible for rental?
An All Mountain or Enduro full suspension bike, fork travel from 140-150/160 would be ideal and lots of fun to play, but a good Hard-tail even with a 100mm-120mm fork can always do a job.
